DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK faced rough weather in Richmond Hill, New York when a section of Sikhs protested against him. They also booed him when he returned from an interview from the studios of a local channel there, accusing him for his responsibility and indirect complicity in the Barghari sacrilege case in Punjab.  In a Facebook post, Manjit Singh said he was not perturbed and would continue to serve the Panth.
